I received a letter that made me feel slightly guilty towards the end of last month. It was written by a Doer. A Doer is what I call that man or woman who comes to our platform, grabs some life-transforming information and, before you could blink your eyes, takes the information, turns it around and comes up with something that you could [or should] be proud of.
One of such men is Kingsley Igwenazor. He turned up for the second episode of my Rich Dad hosts Rich Kid seminar, where my original Rich Kid, Lateef Olajide, was the lead presenter.
After the seminar, Kingsley sent an email to Lateef which I published in SDE! He promised he was coming after him in his own way.
True to his promise, Kingsley reappeared on the scene last month. No, he didn’t come in person. He sent me a copy of his publication, Start-Ups, with an accompanying letter that stated, among other things:
“This is to express my heartfelt gratitude to you personally and your organization for being the ladder that made my dream come true….
“Thank you for hosting the Rich Kid. I was transformed only for the fact that he was not a big name, never had a wonderful education as he said, yet he made a great difference. Please do not stop using such rare kind of speakers for your events.”
Could you notice why I felt a little guilty from that last sentence?
You see, Kingsley was a product of the Rich Dad hosts Rich Kid seminar. And here I was not planning of hosting it this year!
Thank you Kingsley for being a doer. Your courageous action and testimony has compelled me to pencil down Thursday, April 29, 2010, for the Rich Dad hosts Rich Kid seminar [3].
Lateef Olajide, whose lovely wife, Folashade, gave birth to their first daughter, Zainab, on his birthday, February 23, will be on stage. And, hopefully, Kingsley Igwenazor will be my guest, too.
So, mark your calendar! The venue is SADC, 36 Esuola Street, Off Ago Palace Way, Okota, Isolo, Lagos. The programme takes off at 10am prompt.
Are you going to be there? Then text my deaf and dumb gsm –– 0805-516-6529 –– to reserve your seat. Just text RICH KID, add your names and gsm number. Deadline: April 27. There will be no text confirming your reservation.
Watch out for more details next week.

Hey, found your site by accident doing a search on Bing but I’ll definitely be returning. As for your post… I must agree with a lot of what you’re talking about but wouldn’t it be just as easy to let it go? I mean why screw around with your quality of life if you don’t have to?
