If you’ve been reading SuccessDigest Extra! for any length of time, you know by now that the easiest route to free publicity in the multiple streams of income newspaper is by you sharing your testimony of success with me.
That is, share the story of what GOD did for you after you had the privilege of learning one or two things on our platform or getting a breakthrough idea from SuccessDigest Extra!
I just can’t resist climbing on top of the roof [my page three column, where I share my opinion on issues with my readers, is the roof top I’m referring to] and shouting Halleluyah as I celebrate our protégés’ victory over failure.
Why do I do it? Two important reasons. The first one is to join our successful students in thanking GOD for giving them a well-deserved breakthrough so that their mockers –– those who swear that they can’t make it –– will hang their heads in shame.
The second reason is to show the world that our NGO is fulfilling the prupose for which GOD led us to set in up in 1995. Just in case you don’t know, our mission is “to raise and nurture successful entrepreneurs whose success in business is driven by the fear of GOD; a burning desire to care for their families and unquenchable thirst to do good in their communities”.
So when someone steps forward with a great testimony, they become headline news, instant celebrities, in SuccessDigest Extra! And they get mentioned wherever I’m speaking from the platform before audiences, large or small.
For a long time, I was waiting for a success story from one of our diligent daughters who has been working hard all these years since she plugged into what we are teaching at Success Attitude Development Centre. Then, like a bolt from the blues, she sent me this email recently.
“Good evening Daddy,” she starts. “Thanks for giving me audience when I came to Lagos. My seminar was very successful. I had more than 150 persons in attendance. And on that day alone, I sold N90,000 worth of manuals.
“And the week after, people started coming for training. I have five persons I am presently training on website design and each of them paid N20,000.
“I did another seminar last weekend. In all, I have made close to N400,000. The seed money for my seminar was the N15,000 I wanted to use to process my international passport. I just told myself that before I use this money for the passport, let me invest it first.
“Now, I have also put money aside for my registration in Information Marketers Association of Nigeria and Internet Marketers Association. But, again, I will invest the money first. I’m putting some ebooks together. So, next week, I will advertise in SuccessDigest Extrta! I will keep you posted about my progress.
“Also, www.abujaschools.info and www.abujabusinesses.info are warming up. I have employed a marketer, so next month we will start marketing these two sites.
“Once again thanks for your encouragement. And my regards to Mummy. –– Love Oladele [Mrs.]”
Yes, persistence paid off for her just as it would for anyone who dare to persist.
Congratulations, Mrs. Oladele. Now, the sky is your limit. Go for it!
