One major highlight of the second day of the 3 day event is the launch of the prestigious Association of Information Marketers of Nigeria (AIMN) . AIM is positioned to be the voice of Information Marketing Practitioners across the country.

Speaking at the Pre-launch of the association, the President, Dr. Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase mentioned that the birth of the association is the best thing that will happen to the young nascent Nigerian information marketing industry. Membership Procedure
Starting from the day of the launch, membership registration forms will become available for a non-refundable fee of N2,500. Upon completion of the form, prospective members will be required to submit it along with the first year’s annual dues of =N=10,000. The information submitted will then be investigated and the registration accepted.
To retain membership status, the annual dues will be payable every year. The association will periodically publish a list of members whose membership status are current, while not hesitating to discipline any member that flouts it’s rules of customer satisfaction and integrity.

I have attended various workshops at SADC and one on one seminers with some internet marketers. I have tried my hands on blogging without any success. So I don t think that I can call myself an internet marketer so I am not eligible to join the association.
