What A Timely Testimony!

August - 30 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

Again and again, my conviction in the fact that the best thing that could ever happen to any human being is to know his GOD, serve and obey Him and to put his trust entirely on Him.

The longer I continue my Christian walk, the more I have evidence of GOD’s faithfulness. I will serve no other GOD. Why? Because there is no one like HIM!

In the last edition, I restated the reason why we founded SADC. The very following week, just in time before I started to write this column, this testimony arrived in my email box. Go ahead, read it and see how good my Father in Heaven is to me:

Why My Job Is One Of The Most Difficult In The World! (3)

August - 30 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

Let me say this upfront. We were wrong to have illustrated a story with a photograph that was not a true representation of the product that we wrote about.

There are no good enough excuses for it. Not even the one offered by the deputy editor of our SuccessDigest Extra!, Mr. Hope Eno. So, as far as the charge brought against us by Mr. Glory Bimbo, we were guilty as charged.

All I’m out to do in the following paragraphs is to enter a plea for leniency. And as I cannot be a judge in my own case, I’ll leave you, my reader, to either convict or discharge and acquit us as your lordship pleases.

Why My Job Is One Of The Most Difficult In The World! [2]

August - 23 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

After reading my column last week, I know that the title would have made many of my readers to want to ask me this question: WHAT makes your job one of the most difficult in the world? I would like to take time to answer this and other such questions here.

My job is one of the most difficult because I’ve to constantly strike a delicate balance between promoting the interest of our readers, the interest of our mentees and the interest of our NGO, Success Attitude Development Centre [SADC].

First, let me define what these interests are.

Why My Job Is One Of The Most Difficult In The World!

August - 16 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

I’m not writing this because I want you to pity me. No, I don’t need your sympathy as far as this is concerned. I was fully aware of what was in store for me before I signed up for this divine assignment.

The reason I’m telling you about it here is because I believe that by doing so, I’ll get the understanding of my clients –– that is, my public.

But before I even tell you about why I consider my job as the co-founder of Success Attitude Development Centre [SADC] and Publisher of SuccessDigest Extra! as one of the most difficult in the entire world, let me clarify a point or two.

The Problem With “Us” Teachers

August - 9 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

Most teachers have a problem. Yes we do. And it’s a big problem. Stated simply, it’s that we don’t do what we teach. Our motto, in reality, is: “do what I teach, but never mind if I don’t do it myself.” And that is the root of most of the problems besetting many of us teachers.

In my first article on this topic, published in the penultimate edition of this paper [SDE! Volume 5 No. 35 dated Monday, August 2, 2010 –– Page 3], I highlighted how this negative attitude leads to all the myriads of problems that haunt teachers and rob them of joy.

“Whosoever believe on Him shall not be ashamed.” [Romans 10:11].

That Scripture kept ringing in my ears as I sat down to write this article. As I meditated on the Word, gratitude rose from inside of me. GOD is good. May His name be praised forever!

Okay, you’re wondering what this is all about. Relax. I’ll tell you in a moment.

On Saturday, August 7, 2010, the Certified Netpreneur Course [Weekend Class] will round off their training. And both the 2-day [twice a month] and the 4-day [once a month] students will also complete theirs on Friday, August 13, 2010.

A Wake-up Call For Teachers

July - 26 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

I am a teacher. I need to declare my position right from the word go so that teachers reading this article will know that I’m one of them. As a graduate of University of Hard Knocks, I’ve survived in the marketplace for upwards of 25 years. My students –– many of them are columnists for this paper –– do get to write about me from time to time.

For example, in this edition –– see Page A2 of the Pull-out Section –– one of them, Ronald Nzimora, actually called attention to the fact that I’m a teacher.

Calling All Intending CNC II Attendees….

July - 21 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

As announced last week, admission into the September 2010 Certified Netpreneur Course [CNC] begins a week from now. You are required to obtain the application form for N1,500 [see Page 17 for details].

In case you bought one previously it is still valid. But you must submit it along with your tuition fee of N64,500 only on or before Friday, August 27, 2010.

Below is the group photograph of attendees of the recently concluded Certified Netpreneur Foundation Course. They are all set to be a part of the next Certified Netpreneur Course which opens in September.

Testimonies Are Sweet Music To My Ears

July - 19 - 2010 Reporter: Sunny Ojeagbase Respond

I love them. I really love them. I’m talking about testimonies. Why do I love them? Because they validate –– they provide irrefutable proof for –– what you are encouraging others to get involved with.

Without testimonies, most people are skeptical of your claims, no matter how hard you try to convince them otherwise.

But when someone steps up to the plate and says, “Folks, this is who I was before and this is who I’m now and I have this person, this method or this platform to thank for it,” then people stop to pay attention.
